The Oriental Band was established in 1951 and is the Musical Organization within Akdar.

Dressed in colorful Mid East Arabic costumes and playing Arabic instruments the band
plays at the Circus, Ceremonials, Parades, Special Events, Retirement Homes and CSSA
Events. Most of the members have no musical background; but, enjoy the fellowship and
fun of being in the Oriental Band. Anyone interested in more information, please contact
